Delmar blankets Kent Island 9-0
DELMAR, Del.- The Delmar Wildcats move to 9-1 on the season after shutting out the Kent Island Buccannears 9-0. The first half was a defensive battle, neither team gave up a score until the Wildcats were able to score a goal to take a one-to-nothing halftime lead. Jordyn Hollaman took over in the third quarter, scoring three consecutive goals to help push the Wildcats’ lead up to four before finishing the third quarter with a 5-0 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Wildcats scored four more goals to make the final tally. Delmar is in the midst of a four-game winning streak while Bucs move to 3-4 on the season.
