Community fundraiser for Figgs and Powell families

DELMAR, Del.- The Support for the Figgs family doesn’t just stop at Carter Figgs’ funeral.

Carter Figgs and Carter Powell were together on the night of the fatal car accident that killed Figgs. The community is rallying together to host a softball fundraiser, on October 20th, to raise money for the funeral expenses of the Figgs Family, and medical expenses of the Powell family.

Participants are asked to come decked out in orange and blue for the game, and anyone is welcome to participate. The softball game will be held at the Delmar Little Leagues Field, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
