Colonel claims top 1A spot; defeats 1A Rival Snow Hill

AMERICAN CORNER, Md. – Colonel Richardson puts a stranglehold on the Bayside 1A Standings with a 55-28 win over Snow Hill.

The game got off to a very slow start, as neither team was able to score until the second quarter. The Eagles were able to add eight points while the Colonels added 24, taking a double-digit halftime lead that only increased as time went on.

With the victory the Colonels have two 1A wins, bringing them to the top of the class standings, knocking off their two biggest rivals, Snow Hill and Cambridge South Dorchester.  Snow Hill faces Cambridge on Friday, Oct. 13th and Colonel Rochardson’s next opponent is Nandua on October 13th.
