WiHi moves to 2-0 after defensive battle in Easton
EASTON, Md.– WiHi defeated Easton in a final score of 17-3 on Friday night.
WiHi started off strong with a 98 yard kickoff return from Takai Hugee to make it 7-0 in the 1st. Easton’s offense would struggle for most of the game as WiHi’s defense smothered them from their first set of downs.
The Tribe would put the final nail in the coffin in the 3rd quarter with a rushing TD right up the gut to make it 14-3.
First year head coach Matt McMurdo picked up his first win as a head coach with the victory over Easton. WiHi takes on Queen Anne’s next Friday on the road at 6 PM.
