Vikings defense holds off last second Parkside rally
SALISBURY, Md. – Cambridge-South Dorchester scored a late touchdown and held off the Rams in the red zone in the final minute to win, 28-21.
Trailing by one late in the fourth, the Vikings went on a long march down the field. Senior quarterback Blake Labelle called his own number and scored a short yardage touchdown in the final minutes. A two-point conversion gave the Vikings a 7-point lead.
Parkside right back down the field, mainly with the ground game. A fourth-and-long pass inside the red zone fell to the ground, and the Vikings took one final kneel to seal the win.
