Upcoming road closure at Seaford railroad crossing announced

SEAFORD, Del. – Delmarva Central Railroad Forces will be resurfacing and performing general maintenance of their crossing at Ross Station Road next week.

Work is slated to begin at 5 a.m. Monday, October 9th, and will require the full closure of Ross Station Road.

The detour will be as follows:

• Northbound: Ross Station Road to Conrail Road to Hearns Pond Road to Wesley Church Road to Atlanta Road, back to Ross Station Road
• Southbound: Ross Station Road to Atlanta Road to Wesley Church Road to Hearns Pond Road to Conrail Road back to Ross Station Road

The closure will be in place 24 hours a day and is expected to be completed no later than 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 11th.
