Stokes returns two pick-sixes in IR victory

DAGSBORO, Del. – Indian River cemented their place as the top Henlopen 1A team in Delaware with a 25-14 victory over Polytech Friday night.

Jayvion Chandler got the scoring going with a burst through the middle, and taking the ball from midfield to the house.

Defensive back Darnell Stokes stole the show for IR, returning two interceptions for touchdowns.

Indian River (3-0) faces a challenge Friday at home when they welcome in Class 2A Delmar to town.
