Shooting leaves two injured in Dover, police investigating
DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway following a shooting that left two people injured Wednesday afternoon.
At around 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Reese Street for a reported shooting. It was learned that the victim, a 20-year-old man, had left the scene and was at an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his lower body. At the scene, officers recovered several shell casings before learning that a second victim, a 16-year-old mal, was in the 700 block of Slaughter Street. The teen had reportedly been shot in the lower body and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
