Senators dominate West Philadelphia in season opener

DOVER, Del. – Dover controlled the offensive and defensive lines all evening against West Philadelphia, taking their first game of the season, 41-6.

Sophomore running back Shameek Morris got the Senators on the board as time ran out on the first quarter with a 17-yard touchdown run. Dover used a hurry-up offense to wear down the West Philly defensive front.

Jakwon Kilby added a touchdown moments later to increase that lead to 14-0.

Dover (1-0) will host Curtis HS, from New York, next Friday.
