Salisbury Police, Wicomico Sheriff’s Office investigating four shootings in 36 hours

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and Salisbury Police are actively investigating four separate shooting incidents that have occurred in Wicomico County over the past 36 hours.

The first incident took place in the area of the 800 block of Chippewa Boulevard Tuesday night. We’re told this incident was not reported until a concerned citizen notified the Sheriff’s Department, at which point it was determined that numerous shots were fired in the area.

The second incident took place during the early morning hours on Thursday, in the 800 block of Price Road. Police determined that numerous shots were fired, but the shooting was not reported. Deputies did respond to a hit and run crash that appeared to be the result of vehicles fleeing the area after the shooting.

The third incident also took place Thursday morning, at a residence in the 100 block of Carolyn Avenue. It was discovered that the residence was hit 13 times by two separate shooters.

The fourth incident occurred in the 100 block of Davis Street, where a residence was shot three times.
