Pittsville house destroyed in fire caused by electrical failure
PITTSVILLE, Md. – A fire that destroyed a Pittsville home on Monday has been ruled accidental.
Firefighters responded to the house at 7493 Truitt Street just after 11:30 a.m. Crews were able to control the blaze in just under 30 minutes.
Further investigation by state fire investigators determined that the fire was caused by an electrical failure. Total damage has been estimated at $80,000.
