SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced a temporary closure of Picnic Island in the City Park for invasive plant identification and removal.

Picnic Island will be closed on September 15th and 16th from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. so that work can be completed.

We’re told work is expected to be finished in one day, but an additional day has been allowed for possible inclement weather.
