Officials to discuss bike and pedestrian lanes in upcoming DelDot meeting
MILFORD, DE. – Milford leaders are asking for the public’s input on a pedestrian and bicycle network.
The idea is to enhance Milford’s layout, and officials said an upcoming meeting will give people the perfect opportunity to speak up about any concerns they have with the routes.
Economic Development and Community Engagement Administrator Sara Bluhm said the input will guide the city in this process.
“Since this is really the preliminary kick off, it’s to gather input from the community of what they’d like to see- like a wish list,” Bluhm said. “Ideally, what we would like this portal to look like, and a use path that can allow for safe bike riding with the paths along the shoulder, so it’s really just to gather that community input from people that either live along there or travel that road.”
