Ocean City boardwalk now open to bikers

OCEAN CITY, Md. – With summer coming to an end, the Ocean City boardwalk won’t be seeing as much foot traffic during the day.

Bikers are now able to hit the boardwalk and cruise through the city, after the long summer bike closure, and they’ll be able to enjoy the sport until Memorial Day, when the board walk closes to them again.

Biker Lisa Bower made her way to the boardwalk to enjoy the weather and try some of the new spots that Ocean City has to offer.

“Any chance we get out here, we will be here to ride on the boards for sure,” Bower said. “We’re just going to explore Ocean City, check out the new places that we haven’t been in and just enjoy.”
