Maryland Folk Festival delayed Saturday due to Tropical Storm Ophelia

SALISBURY, Md. – The Maryland Folk Festival will be delayed until 3 p.m. Saturday due to Tropical Storm Ophelia.
“In the interest of safety, we regret to inform you that the start of the Maryland Folk Festival schedule on Saturday will be delayed due to inclement weather conditions, specifically heavy rain and strong winds,” event officials announced Friday evening.
Officials went on to stress that the safety and well-being of all attendees, performers, and staff are their utmost priority, and as a result they decided to begin festivities starting at 3 p.m. rather than Noon on Saturday.
