Man sentenced for armed robbery of Worcester Co. convenience store
SHOWELL, Md. – A Selbyville man has been sentenced for armed robbery.
48-year-old Antonio Walters was sentenced last week to 20 years behind bars for an armed robbery he committed at a convenience store in Showell on February 11th. During the incident, it was reported that a man, later identified as Walters, walked into the store and pointed a handgun at the clerk while demanding money from the cash register and safe.
Through surveillance footage and numerous tips, Walters was identified as the suspect. He was taken into custody at a residence on Germantown Road on February 20th.
