Woman Found Dead After Shooting in Federalsburg

FEDERALSBURG, Md. – An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in Federalsburg on September 4th.

According to police, they responded to reports of someone shot at the Federalsburg Gardens Apartments that morning. When they arrived, they found the victim identified as 27-year-old Caryn Faye Brown dead from gunshot wounds.

26-Year-old Quandre Lee Winder has been identified by witnesses as a suspect. Quandre has active warrants for assaulting Caryn the week before and police are trying to locate Quandre.
