Man arrested in connection with murder of Federalsburg woman
FEDERALSBURG, Md. – Maryland State Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a Federalsburg woman.
Early Monday morning, 27-year-old Caryn Brown was found dead in front of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Gardens Court in Federalsburg. Police arrived at the scene to find Brown lying in the grass with apparent gunshot wounds. EMS personnel responded and pronounced Brown dead at the scene.
We’re told police believe that Brown and the suspect, 26-year-old Quandre Winder, were involved in an ongoing relationship and had gotten into an alleged argument at the time of the murder.
Winder was taken into custody at a residence in Seaford Monday morning. He has been charged with first and second degree murder as well as other gun-related charges. He is currently being held in Delaware awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
