Juvenile charged after assault and robbery involving a knife at North Caroline High School

RIDGELY, Md. – A teen has been charged after he allegedly robbed and assaulted a student in a high school bathroom.

According to police, the incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. Monday at North Caroline High School. It was determined through investigation that a 16-year-old male robbed and assaulted another 16-year-old male in the bathroom.

The 16-year-old was taken into custody and has been charged as an adult with armed robbery, first and second degree assault, and theft $100 to under $1500. The suspect is being held at the Caroline Detention Center without bond.
