Jaguars take down defending state champion Warriors

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.– The Washington High Jaguars defeated Pocomoke in a final score of 2-1 on Wednesday night.

The reigning Bayside champs started off strong and took an early 1-0 lead on Pocomoke in the 1st quarter. The Warriors responded right back in the 2nd quarter with a goal from Maddie Esham to tie it up at 1-1.

The Jags would not waste any time as they would reclaim the lead in the 2nd with a goal from Senior player Keysi Moreno-Vigil.

Washington takes their season opener against Pocomoke, they take on Bennett for their second game of the season on September 15th.
