Good Morning Delmarva Discusses Wicomico Goes Purple!
47ABC – If you’ve been in downtown Salisbury lately, you may have noticed it’s a little purple!
Including our own station!
That’s because we’re supporting Wicomico Goes Purple, a campaign dedicated to spreading awareness of substance misuse and disorders, for National Recovery Month.
Wicomico Goes Purple is also celebrating its 5th year with a series of community events.
Christina Bowie-Simpson, the Wicomico County Opioid Coordinator and Lead Project Manager, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to share more about the events and how important it is to get the community involved.
Watch the full interview to learn more about the campaign!
