Good Morning Delmarva Discusses the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
47ABC – Alzheimer’s is a deadly disease that affects millions of elderly people.
It leads to memory loss and has no cure, but local organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter, are trying to raise awareness about its impact.
Saturday, September 23rd, they are hosting a Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Rehoboth Beach to show support for families affected.
Margie Daisey, Co-Chair of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, sat down with us to discuss why an event like this is so important to the community.
Registration starts at 8AM and the promise garden ceremony starts at 9AM.
You can learn more about the event by watching the full interview!
