Next Steps After Fda Authorizes Covid Vaccine

MARYLAND – Maryland Delegation officials have announced over $900,000 to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to Marylanders.

We’re told the funding was made available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Fiscal Year 2023 Bridge Access Program and will be used to ensure that all Marylanders have access to COVID-19 vaccines, regardless of insurance status.

Choptank Community Health System, Inc., in Caroline County will receive a total of $55,826 from this funding, while Three Lower Counties Community Services, Inc., in Wicomico County is slated to receive $41,245.

The Bridge Access Program is temporary and is set to expire in December 2024.
