Drive through flu shot clinic in Salisbury on September 29th

SALISBURY, Md. – Tidalhealth will be bringing its drive through clinic to shorebirds stadium, on September 29th.
The clinic will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Health officials say it’s a convenient way to protect your self and your loved ones from the flu this season, which is starting earlier than it has before.
Tidalhealth officials say they’re making a big community push to get shots in arms, and potentially reduce the number of cases.
Kat Rodgers with tidal Health said, “The strain of the flu virus can change year to year, so the developers of the flu vaccine take that into account.”
“This year, we are encouraging anyone eight and older to come and get there flu shot through our clinic,” Rodgers said. “If they are under eighteen, they will need a parent or guardian present to sign their consent.”
Getting the newest flu vaccine yearly cuts your chances of getting sick in half, according to health officials.
