Decatur Seahawks off to an undefeated start

BERLIN, Md. — The Decatur Seahawks have been on a tear in their first few weeks of the season. The Seahawks have dominated their opponents going 4-0 and having multiple 30-point shut-out victories. The Seahawk offense, led by Brycen Coleman, Trybe Wise, Gavin Solito, Careen Bolden, and Zacari Baker has been on fire averaging 41 points a game.

As impressive as the offense has been, the defense has been just as stout. All season the Seahawks have given up just eight points. Seahawks Head Coach Jake Coleman says the effort that has been shown on offense, defense, and special teams has been amazing and that he and the coaching staff want to continue to build on that positive momentum as the Seahawks get into the meat and bones of their schedule.

We know there are great teams in the schedule. We’ll be hitting a lot of the bigger schools here in the meat of our schedule and those are the same teams that we have to play when we get to the playoffs. We get better every single day and we focus on us, I’m excited about this group,” Coleman says.
