Bomb threat causes school dismissal

Centreville, Md – According to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s office a bomb threat caused for the early dismissal of the Queen Anne’s County Highschool in Centreville on Tuesday afternoon.

In a social media post from the Queen Ann’s County Board of Education, the school received a suspicious call at 1:10 p.m.

To ensure the safety of students and staff following the call students were dismissed for the day so police could conduct a search.
