Bennett tames Jags, lightning ends game early

SALISBURY, Md. – Bennett struck early and often, but it was the weather that finished off the game at County Stadium Thursday night.

With lightning threatening in the distance fans and teams were asked to vacate the stadium due to lightning in the area.

After a discussion that included both teams and state officials the game was called. The teams agreed that it would be counted as an official game.
