Annual Hispanic Festival returns to Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, De. – The 26th annual Hispanic festival is taking over Georgetown, this Sunday.

The event celebrates Hispanic heritage month, inviting people from near and far to celebrate in Georgetown.

There will be delicious food offerings, live music and games, all highlighting the rich culture of the community. Event organizer Kevin Andrade said it’s also an opportunity for people to learn something new.

“We are celebrating the culture, the food, the traditions, the dances, the art, and everything that we have in the Latino community,” Andrade said. “When we are organizing this event every year, we believe that the Latino community is part of the United States and we’re growing really fast, so I think we don’t want to forget where we are coming from,” Andrade said.

The event will be held from 11-7 p.m. and the admission fee is $15. Children 10 years and younger can get in for free.
