Wicomico Co. home invasion under investigation

NANTICOKE, Md. – Police are investigating a home invasion that took place last week in Wicomico County.

During the early morning hours of August 14th, two unknown suspects reportedly forced open a door to a home in the 2600 block of Bank Road, displaying handguns. The suspects then allegedly assaulted the occupant of the residence, causing serious injuries. The suspects then ransacked the residence before eventually fleeing.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and was later released.
