Somerset Co. man arrested on child sex abuse charges

SOMERSET CO., Md. – A Somerset County man has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a minor.

On Friday, 55-year-old Gregory Lawson was arrested on an outstanding Circuit Court Grand Jury indictment, charging him with sex abuse of a minor, sex abuse of a minor: continuing course of conduct, and third degree sex offense.

Lawson was held at the Somerset County Detention Center without bond.
