Six story duck at Crisfield’s Big Little Town event
Crisfield Arts and Entertainment Coordinator Heather Is the one responsible for bringing the big mother duck to Crisfield.
“We love ducks here in Crisfield so of course we wanted the world’s largest duck.”
Jennifer Merritt is the grant administrator for the City of Crisfield.
She tells 47ABC that many local businesses and restaurants are happy to sponsor the Big Little Town event because of all the business it brings to the town.
“It looks like there is going to be a lot of great traffic for local restaurants and shops and the vendors here today. “
Crisfield Arts and Entertainment Coordinator, Heather Ross, says no matter how much the inflatable duck costs – it is more than worth it.
“She’s not cheap, but we thought it was worth it just to bring everybody together and back with live events sharing experiences together so it doesn’t matter how much it costs.”
The duck was the main attraction but visitors, like Delmar Resident Lisa Riley, also enjoyed
“Just being out in this gorgeous sunshine.”
People from all over Maryland have been hearing about the tall inflatable duck all over social media that has now brought them to Crisfield.
“I was really excited for it and wanted to see how big it was and what it looked like.”
The event will be going on from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday if you missed your chance today.
