Shots fired at Lewes apartment complex

Lewes, De- At approximately 2:37 a.m. on Monday August 21st the Lewes Police department was notified of multiple shots being fired at the Jefferson Apartments located on Kings Highway.

Police arrived on the scene where their investigation found 9 spent shell casings, along with a car that had multiple bullet holes on it’s windshield and hood.

Thankfully no one was struck in the shooting.

While there are no witnesses, several surveillance videos captured the incident and showed a dark clothed subject approach the vehicle and fire multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
