Reward offered for information regarding 2021 murder of Lincoln man
FRANKFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are continuing to ask for the public’s help in a 2021 homicide investigation.
During the afternoon hours of May 18, 2021, Frankford Police and Delaware State Police troopers responded to Honolulu Road and Kauffman Lane for a reported shooting. Officers arrived to find a gray 2012 Volkswagen CC that had crashed into the front of a house on Honolulu Road. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Dioandre Gibbs, had reportedly been shot nearby and crashed his car as he tried to drive away.
Gibbs was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A $12,000 reward is being offered by Delaware Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can contact Detective B. McDerby at 302-741-2821.
