Police searching for wanted shooting suspect in Talbot Co.
TALBOT CO., Md. – Talbot County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a man involved in a shooting incident Sunday night.
Police say at around 9 p.m., Sunday, Stewart Orlando Ray fired several shots from a firearm, hitting the victim and his vehicle several times, in the area of Tunis Mills Road and Unionville Road. Ray then fled the area in his vehicle, failed to stop at a stop sign at Bruffs Island Road, veered off the roadway, and hit several parked vehicles, disabling his car.
Ray’s vehicle has been recovered by police, but Ray is still at large. An arrest warrant has been obtained, charging him with attempted murder, first degree assault, reckless endangerment, and use of a firearm in a felony/violent crime.
If you see Ray, you are urged to not approach him, as he is possibly armed and dangerous. You should notify police immediately and report his location.
