Pair of juveniles arrested for stealing vehicle in Ellendale

ELLENDALE, Del. – A stolen vehicle investigation in Ellendale has led to charges for two juveniles.

On Tuesday, police recovered the stolen 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan in the Ingram Village Development, and with the assistance of Delaware State Police, Milton Police, and Bridgeville Police K-9 unit, two juveniles were developed as suspects.

On Friday, police obtained warrants and arrested the first juvenile for theft of a motor vehicle, second degree conspiracy, two counts of theft, and criminal mischief. The juvenile was released to a parent pending an arraignment in Sussex County Family Court.

Thes second juvenile was arrested on Sunday on the same charges and was held at the Stevenson Juvenile Detention Center on a $1,300 secured bond pending an arraignment in Sussex County Family Court.
