Overnight grocery store burglary under investigation in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating an early morning burglary at a Dover grocery store.

Shortly before 6 a.m., officers responded to Grocery Basket for a reported burglary. Officers discovered that the front glass door had been shattered, and further investigation revealed that the two suspects involved broke the door to gain entry. Once inside, the two reportedly stole merchandise and fled.

Both suspects were described as males wearing dark clothing, masks, and gloves.
