Loaded pistol found in Ellendale, police investigating

ELLENDALE, Del. – Police say a loaded 9mm pistol was found in the Ellendale area on Sunday.

According to police, the pistol was found along the roadway of South Lee Avenue, in the development of Ingram Village. Further investigation revealed that a 14-year-old reportedly found the pistol and accidentally discharged it. The juvenile then dropped the weapon and ran home.
