Investigation underway after man found dead on Dover trail

DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway after police say a man was found dead on a Dover trail Wednesday morning.

At around 6:30 a.m., troopers responded to the Isaac Branch Greenway trail for a report of a man on the ground near the wood line. Troopers arrived to find the man deceased with blunt force injuries. The victim has been identified as 63-year-old Mark Garrett.

No suspect information is available at this time. Detectives are working to determine Garrett’s activities the day before his death.
