High School Football Preview: Snow Hill Eagles

SNOW HILL, Md. – The Eagles are optimistic as they gear up for the 2023 football season. New head coach Raheem Hammond is bringing a new energy, and a focus on fundamentals to the team.

Hammond tells us the kids, parents, and community has been buying in to the new team philosophies. He says kids have been showing up at 6 AM to the school for their 7 AM practices.

“These kids, they’ve been busting their butt. It’s all about the person that comes in, so if you’re energized they’re going to follow your guidance.”

The Eagles will look to soar offensively with a spread offense. The defense will have multiple looks, with the goal being to pressure the opposing quarterbacks.
