Hazmat incident at Rehoboth Chipotle sends five employees to the hospital
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Five Rehoboth Chipotle employees were taken to the hospital following a hazmat incident Tuesday morning.
Just after 11 a.m., firefighters and EMS crews responded to the Chipotle at the Tanger Outlets for the incident. Crews found a leaking connection to the CO2 tank inside the business and were able to secure it.
We’re told a total of five employees were taken to Beebe Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Units were on scene for roughly one hour ventilating the building and treating employees.
