Emerging Leader Ben Sorrells on Good Morning Delmarva

47ABC – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader in the Delmarva Community.

Ben Sorrells is the Director of Community Engagement at the Bridge, a nonprofit ministry.

Over the year, he has participated in a series of mission trips to a village Delmarva bridge members have adopted in the Dominican Republic. While there – they’ve helped build up the village and aided in the children’s education.

So far, all school age kids in the village attend school and they have built a community center, water tanks, a bakery, sewing center, and purchased property for a missionary who lives and works with the village.
