DSP’s annual Troopers Have Your BackPack
Delaware State Police will be continuing their annual Troopers Have Your BackPack event to help kids going back to school.
DSP is accepting donations of any school supplies for kids getting ready to return back to the classroom for the new school year.
These supplies will be given to different county schools to give kids and teachers the opportunity to learn as easy as possible.
Senior Corporal Leonard Demalto says this initiative is starting from today to till August 21st.
“All state police troops and Delaware State Police credit unions will have donation boxes and bins as soon you walk in, be very visible and very easy to see,” Senior Corporal DeMalto said. “We are taking all sorts supplies again for kids in classrooms cause school is right around the corner.”
Delaware State Police want to emphasize that all troops are open twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, and you can drop off supplies at your convenience.
