Dover woman arrested following drug investigation at motel

DOVER, Del. – A Dover woman is behind bars after a drug investigation wrapped up Wednesday evening.

Dover Police drug units had been conducting an investigation involving 31-year-old Emily Lowe at the Super Lodge motel. Shortly before 9 p.m., officers made contact with Lowe as she was leaving the motel and began walking along North DuPont Highway. Police found Lowe in possession of 92 bags of heroin and $405.

Lowe was subsequently arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on her own recognizance on these charges but was held at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on an outstanding capias.
