Dewey Beach 2023 Municipal Election Cancelled
DEWEY BEACH, Del. – The deadline to file as a candidate in Dewey Beach’s municipal election has officially ended.
Three town officials; Elisabeth Gibbings, David Jasinski and Paul Bauer are the official municipal employees for the town of Dewey Beach now that the 2023 Municipal Election is cancelled, according to a public notice by Paul Bauer.
“Dewey has matured and grown,” Commissioner Bauer said. “We listen to people, we have a functional council and we do not always agree on stuff, but we are respectful and are always looking to see the other side of someone’s point of view.”
Commissioner Bauer says anyone can run for a municipal position next year as long as they work to keep the streets safe, clean and put the community members views as a number one priority.
