Bald Eagle rescued in Talbot Co.
TALBOT CO., Md. – A Bald Eagle was rescued in Talbot County this week.
Deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a downed Bald Eagle on Oxford Road near Harleigh Lane and contacted Maryland Natural Resources Police for assistance. Contact was made with the Owl Moon Raptor Center and a wildlife rescuer was sent out, identified as Kristina Motley of Easton. She was able to capture the eagle without causing any additional injuries.
The eagle will be rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
