‘We’re going to fellowship together:’ Delaware business owner hosting community vigil

LEWES, Del.-  NaNa’s Candy Kloudz is holding a community vigil to celebrate the lives of loved ones throughout the community.

Owner Gia Love tells us the event actually falls on the three-year anniversary of her daughter Saniyah’s death.

She opened up the organic cotton candy shop in her daughter’s memory. Na Na’s Candy Kloudz offers a variety of all-natural flavors from Tropical Breeze, Bubble Gum Blast, Blueberry, and more. Funds from the shop support the nonprofit, #RunSaniyahRun, which assists families with special needs children.

Love says grief doesn’t look the same for everyone and hopes the event is an opportunity for many to find others to lean on. “You can get through it. We’re going to fellowship together, share stories about our loved ones, play music, and we’ll also have a bubble release. We just want to make this a joyous occasion instead of a sad time,” Love said.

The event will be Sunday, July 30th and Monday, July 31st from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

The location is 34-677 Old Postal Lane in Lewes in front of the Midway Assembly of God Church.
