“The Prank Panel” on ABC
47 ABC – Johnny Knoxville, known for being one of the world’s best pranksters is now part of ABC’s new series, ‘The Prank Panel.’ With a panel of prank experts including Knoxville, Eric Andre, and Gabourey Sidibe, it’s a show where people get to pitch their pranks targeting family members, friends, and co-workers.
The show will take viewers behind the scenes as they help to plot and plan elaborate and hilarious schemes. We sat down with Knoxville who tells us pranking is simply what he does. However, saying no to people is the hardest part but it’s the pranks he gets to be a part of that make the show so enjoyable. “It can be a number of things, I can like their prank, I can like their personality,” says Knoxville. “One guy walked on stage in this spangled outfit and I’m like I will do your prank even before he uttered one word! So I can make any prank work really, we just have to be invested.”
Knoxville also tells us, the ability to make someone else’s dream prank come true is exciting, and it’s amazing to see the pranks people come up with. “People are really going to enjoy this show, I mean in the first episode the clown prank is one of the funniest pranks I’ve ever been a part of!” says Knoxville.
New Episodes begin Sunday, July 9th at 8 p.m. on 47 ABC.
