Senior day at the Delaware State Fair
Harrington, Del.- Seniors got their own day at the Delaware State Fair– it’s called seniors day.
Those 60-years and up are being celebrated with free admission. Seniors Day is held every year, bringing different resources and activities. Delaware state fair Assistant Manager Danny Aguilar said organizers want seniors to feel special and appreciated.
“We want to make sure we have a free day and opportunity for our seniors to come out and enjoy the fair and the aspects of the fair,” Aguilar said. “It’s just their opportunity to come in for free and to enjoy the exhibits and everything we have to offer.”
For seniors hesitant to come out to the fair because of the heat, there are several air conditioned buildings throughout the fair, such as the Exhibit hall and the Marketplace.
