Salisbury Police is hosting National Night Out at City Park
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Police Department is partnering with the National Night Out organization to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the residents of Salisbury with a community event on August 1st at 5:00 p.m.
National Night Out will take place at the Salisbury City park and is free for anyone to come out and join in on all of the festivities. Venders from local businesses and city resources will be on hand, including local athletic organizations, family health services and more. Salisbury Police Sergeant Thomas Hitty even says there will be a couple give-aways.
“Typically every year, we go out and purchase about one hundred bicycles and give away to the children through a raffle.”
Sergeant Hitty also says there will be a number of book bags they plan on giving away to families during the event. The event is three hours long and ends at 8:00 p.m.
