Salisbury man killed in early morning hit and run

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are investigating the hit-and-run death of a Salisbury man early Thursday morning.

At around 5:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Route 50 and Boundary Street for a reported crash. Officers met with fire/EMS, who reported that a man, identified as 59-year-old Gregory Dennis, was riding a bicycle on Route 50, east of Boundary Street, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle allegedly failed to stop following the crash.

Dennis was taken to TidalHealth with serious injuries, where he later died.
